Some of my people.

One of my favorite pictures from a conference…with Liz.

I’m at the Aiming Low Noncon and it’s terrific. It is a small conference intended to encourage engagement. Discussions. Connections.

It is exactly that. It’s a privilege to be here (I was a round table leader today) among people who like what I like in the world of social media and writing and blogging. It’s great to be with people who don’t mind talking to you over a computer screen or cell phone. There’s always a charger available. There’s always a person to walk up to to introduce yourself to and discuss twitter handles and the evolution of your blog and platforms.

The great stuff also happens in the rooms and in the halls. I’ve enjoyed hanging around Liz at Six Year Itch, Leila at Don’t Speak Whinese and Robin at Balls to the Wall Y’all.

Love them. Love their humor. I’ve been laughing my ass off.

Also? Laughing is good.

I saw a tweet from Cecily that you were together at some point today and now you are with Liz…dammm. I miss ya!!! You are one of those people in the world that makes me feel centered. Much love!

  2. I’m in the group, too! I anoint myself!

  3. It’s been over a week and my face and stomach muscles are still sore from all the laughter. Laughter is so very good.
